The Japan Information Center provides cultural resources free of charge as available. We can answer basic questions; provide a selection of texts, posters, and a CD-Rom at no charge; and loan cultural items to organizations and educators.
 
Free Materials

The JIC can provide a variety of textual materials free to the residents of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Cultural Items for Loan

The JIC loans flags and other cultural items to organizations and teachers for use in displays
or instruction about Japan.

Questions about Japan
The staff at the Japan Information Center can answer some general questions about Japan and Japanese culture, and we can provide resources for further inquiry. If you have a general question about Japan or Japanese culture, we ask that you use the following procedure.
